SEMINAR
COGITO EPISTEMOLOGY RESEARCH CENTRE

@ UNIVERSITY OF GLASGOW

COGITO Seminar

The COGITO Seminar meets on Mondays, 12–1pm, during semester at 67–69 Oakfield Avenue. It is the centre's regular meeting for staff, postdocs, PhD students and visitors, and it runs in three formats.

  • COGITO Drafts: pre-read sessions. A paper is circulated a week in advance and the whole session is discussion.

  • Talks: a 45-minute presentation by a visiting speaker or a member of the centre, followed by questions.

  • Lightning Workshops: several short presentations on one theme in a single session, with quick-fire discussion.

For the programme, to propose a session, or to be added to the mailing list, contact Frances Darling (f.darling.1@research.gla.ac.uk) or Will Gopal (w.gopal.1@research.gla.ac.uk).
