

The COGITO Epistemology Research Centre, founded in 2018 by J. Adam Carter, Christoph Kelp and Mona Simion at the University of Glasgow, is aimed at facilitating the creation and dissemination of first-rate work in contemporary analytic epistemology. Check out our research streams here.
Our membership includes faculty and PhD students working in epistemology at Glasgow. COGITO regularly hosts major international epistemology events, holds an ongoing epistemology speaker series, and has a thriving epistemology PhD and Postdoc community, We also regularly host visiting researchers and PhD students (contact us if you are interested in a visit).
COGITO is hosting the British Society for the Theory of Knowledge (2020-2024).
